Haha I hear ya.

Well Pauls Poultry has them in LF and maybe bantams too, but their a little too pricey for me right now with everything else I'm trying to buy, and I would like someone that sells eggs, Pauls Poultry only does chicks.

Thanks and please be sure to let me know if you do find anyone else.

I have a 5 1/2 month old PR rooster named Celery(honestly, because he was ALWAYS stalking me) and I have just had to school him from early on. He is a gorgeous boy and I love him, but he is an instigator. He has never tried to flog me, but I stay one step ahead of him just to be sure he doesn't ever feel the need to. He can be a rear end, but I love him anyway.
Definitely not stupid!

I would not buy from MM if you want a nice rooster. Most mean PRs I have heard of come from them. My stock came from Mt Healthy. I just put in a order for 10 SR which will arrive later this month. I get mine from local feed store that puts in a multi order for owners 2x a year. That is why I can order such a low number. Both of my roosters were great. Rock did not make it too long as he got taken by a hawk protecting the flock. Captain has only pecked at me once. I pick him up every day to take him out of coop due to his leg. He does not even peck at my hubby when he lifts him out. My dog which help raise them has a habit of going after his tail. Not mean but in play. Captain just walks away from her. But heaven forbid a hawk show up for he makes a big racket to let the girls know and stays out to distrack the hawk from them. He is big so hawk can not take him on since most that try here a small male hawks.

Good advice. I got these chicks from a private breeder not a hatchery. I hope they turn out nice........
