Oh, that's really interesting, and an ideal cross to show off the black skin. I see a pinkish toetip, does it have pink elsewhere on the feet? Looks like it held the darkness really well just about everywhere else, though.
Nice cross!

Yes, a couple of the toes on the bottom only are pinkish. When its crop is stretched full you can see some veining that makes it look pinkish. Inside its mouth is sort of mottled black and pink. I will update pics as it grows.

View attachment 1804018 These are my two Ayam Cemani X Araucana mixes at about 2 weeks. The one on the left (Reuben) looks much more like his Ayam Cemani dad and Trixie on the right is more clearly mixed but they are both very interesting looking, especially now! This picture is about a month old now, I’ll have to send an updated picture of them.

Here is trixie today

Well here is an updated pic of the AC/Turkin I posted several months ago. This roo is solid black with all black skin except the very tip of the longest toe on each foot. I am 99% sure it is a rooster so if anyone around central FL is interested let me know. I also think I have several more but they have gold splash coloring on the black with all black skin.
