show me some of your strangest eggs.....

this week i got two weird eggs- not sure what caused it- but got me thinking- what other weird ones have folks had?

the one on the left had ripples, almost like a softshell egg but had hardened

LOLZ I swear to you have had one of each of those recently, also photographed together....weeeeird! I also had a grape-sized egg. And...I also had one with an eery sun image on it; I was afraid to crack it open for fear of lightening striking me!

(the egg on the left was obscenely huge; the one on the right had no yolk

(edited to add what a dork i appear to be for documenting all my eggs!)

how weird. I've had a huge rippled egg and a tiny, tiny one. I've never had an elongated one though.

No problem, go ahead and use my photos - i just thought the long one was real strange- thought maybe cuz we had thunderstorms a few nights before- i mean shake the house thunder- and the coop is a steel shed, so maybe it scared one of the girls, or a reaction to the huge quake??

I've had a couple of those long, thin eggs, although mine weren't as long. We call them bullet eggs!
