Hope this helps explains what I use. The funny thing is that they sleep in the 3 boxes but only lay in one. I guess they want eggs to have company.

Thanks for the photos! This looks like it works pretty well. I can see now why I couldn't picture it. I've never seen recycling bins that look like this.

Here’s where I finally found mine. Happily they are sharing the nest.

Really like that idea of a recycling bin. Might try it for peahens. My Muscovy ducks lay their eggs in shared corners of the coop. Always have to watch my step in the morning because occasionally there is a random one hidden in the shavings.

This is a better day. Usually they have a nest with about 4 or 5 eggs, then the rest are buried or scattered around the coop, always covered in poop and pretty gross. My main goal is to keep the eggs cleaner and hopefully contained to a few spaces. I understand that they occasionally may lay eggs elsewhere, which is fine.
