Eggsmerelda, Henneth Fowltrow, Wynnie, Petra, Nugget, and Fraggle.

This is the first time experiencing molting. Not too bad. I wonder if its because they are all so young. The roo and the buffs just turned 1 year old this month. The rest are younger but all are laying age.

Those are literally some of the greatest names I have heard for chickens. Eggs stela’s is probably my favorite

My chickens back home experienced their first moly as well. They are about a year old, a little older.

Thanks. Hubby named Eggsmerelda. My favorite name is Henneth Fowltrow (like Gwyneth Paltrow) who was named by my grandson.

Thank you! That is Li’l Bit, my Appenzeller Spitzhauben Rooster. I happened upon him at Rural King and he was the only chick of his breeed there, so I picked him up without knowing what he was and watched him grow. He’s a very good boy.

Here are some pics of my ladies. I have 8 Golden Laced Wyandottes that are 19 weeks old. The 10 week olds are my two Blue Andalusians and then the Cuckoo Marans and welsummer. Or as my husband calls her: the summer sausage!
