I'm'a use the IKEA poles and cut out perches like the shapes of the CatVantage tree, and mount them using the IKEA hardware bits. And since I'm building out my closet (dressing room) with the IKEA parts as intended, they'll have a shelf around the top to run, and the trees at either end, and it'll all match.

Joz, that Catvantage thing is really cool looking. I bet you could build something even more cool! Good luck and post pics!
