Show me your dogs!

This is Bella my little pigmy

Bella greating the seasons and tolerating my daughter and I (daughter in Photo)...you know I never thought I would be that woman who would make her poor dog endure a moment like this! She may look cute but I don't trust her for a moment with chicks and ducks,..they could have chicken starter on them, and if there is a potentiality of scoring food,..there's no telling what Bella could do.

And Bailey, just the sweetest dog ever,..him chicks, ducks, love,..

Faith, our 4 year old german shepherd. We got her at 3 days old and had to bottle feed her. She thinks all chickens are her babies

Lucy is our beagle mix rescue. When we got her, they had to surgically remove a choke collar out of her neck. She's been with us 5 years. She never gets off the chair or the sofa and refuses to lie on any floor lol.

This is Ace, he is our almost 2 year old Doberman. He is the protector of the house..watch out if you have long ears and hop around eating clovers!

This is Twix, he is our almost 9 year old miniature pinscher. He was abused and sent back to the breeder at only 4 months old. He has issues but we work with them and he has a happy life here with us!

Finally, last but certainly not least, this is Major. He is our first dog, he is 8 and the best dog we could ask for. He protects and yet is still gentle enough to go into preschool and 1st grade classrooms for the children to lay and read to him!

We dressed her up here because one of my dad's friends made a joke about needing a guide for an antelope hunt in Wyoming being similar to needing a blind pointer on a bird hunt, or something like that.

Bronson looks like one of those extra special family dogs the likes of which come into your life only once or twice.... I can see it in his eyes! He looks very intelligent.

You are so right about Bronson. I love my other dogs but he was the best. We free ranged our chickens then (no fence) and he watched over them and our kids and would herd them back if they got too close to the neighbors or the woods. He watched over our place and both our neighbors and was as protective of them as he was of us. Once our neighbor, Paulette was home alone (they ran a little dogfood and hunting supply store) when a strange man stopped who gave her a bad feeding and made her hair stand on end. Our sweet dog who never growled at anyone came charging over and barked and growled viciously until the man left. We have many Bronson stories and will miss him until forever.
