Show me your duck coops! Update: also looking for duckling brooders

Here are some photos of our indoor brooder set up. We did not want to repeat the filthy nightmare of our last go round so we decided to go big or go home! It's made of plywood zip tied together with hardware cloth zip tied to the windows and a small feeding area to let the muck fall through.... Well some of it. The floor is covered with a tarp and then we added wood shavings.... Until they started eating those. So we added the foam cabinet liner on top of that. We made two sets so one is always clean to replace the yucky one! It's on wheels to move for cleaning the slop catch buckets, for sweeping, and for moving away from the window on cold nights. It's tall enough so they will be contained, but there is a small spot for me to lean into for cleaning, and feeding. Anyhow... Just thought if share our duckling fantasy island!

Here is our Hoop Coop

I will be putting barn board on it, the man that cuts my trees to lumber cut his finger on the saw, also it's -20C now so things are on hold.
I hope he's okay yikes, Yep I'd say a might cold to be outside working anyway. Be sure to post when finished though it sounds nice. Do your Muscovy's go outside in those temps? Mine have been going out in single digits and today it's to be in the minus with wind chills just a little worried about them. They have access to their house but won't go inside during the day.

they go outside when its about -10C, but now that its colder they only go out for a bit, depends on the wind and sun as well. the first two weeks they were so scared of their new home, but really seem to like it now! I will be sure to add some pictures when I finish it

Here is our Hoop Coop

Do your ducks just sleep in/under the box? Or do they need more than that. I know you're in TX but what about up North like here in NY? I have hoops as you can see, but would I just need to add a box such as that?

two of our ducks sleep in there when its chilly... in the summer they nest in the straw. I like to give them a place to hide if they feel scared for any reason. We had a bobcat prowling around one night and being out in the open like that is probably pretty scary!

Also... our temps are so ridiculous that we use tarps to keep them warm during cold snaps. they are easily bungee corded to the coop and removable during the days that get sweaty!
