Yes. Even mine create new dust baths every 2 days or so. I just keep moving the food grade diatomaceous earth where they want it.My chickens free range so they dust bathe wherever it suits them.
Do they use it after the DE addition.... or move somewhere else?I just keep moving the food grade diatomaceous earth where they want it.
Nice. My dream is to have a contained area just for dust bathing that protects from rain, snow, and sleet. Maybe this summer I can get something made.I have pine shaving down on the damp cold ground. In the hot 6 months May-October the floor is dry and dusty. I didn't need to add a dust bath until late October. This old Rubbermaid 33gal is about 14" tall and still has its bottom. I dug out the floor a little bit and countersunk and cut the front side lower so they could step in.

Ahhh. Good observation. I never thought of that. Thank you.One of the things you must keep in mind, is that if you’re going to use wood ash, you need to keep it dry. Wood ashes become caustic when wet, and can hurt your chickens.
