Are the dates on your eggs Poultrygeist to show when they were laid or their best before dates? looks like a good idea but does it do anything to the eggs inside?
 
Here's what's in my Easter basket. The egg in the middle is not a double yolker, it's my BR eggs after she molted.

ETA: Soon I'll have welsummer eggs in my basket. They are 16 weeks old.

The two lil ones came from my silkie and milly. The darker brown one i am not sure who layed that. lol

lemoniee, as a matter of fact the ones labeled as being laid in January are miss labeled, it should be Feb. That's organic beet juice in a fountain pen, and I think it's nothing but enhancement! It's just a way to keep track off who's doing what. Thanks for the inquiry though!
 
Labeling them is a good idea. I put mine in the egg cartons a certain way so I know which is oldest and which is brand new. My hubby asks "which one can I use" every morning.
