Show me your FREE coops

Okay here goes what we through together. It cost us just the cost of wire which came to about $64. Everything else: Chicken coup and crate from husbands work *two heavy material crates from my husbands work stood up side by side and the foundation crate was just another extra they wanted to get rid of*, framing on the run, extra wood from other projects over the 7 years we have lived here. The nice fancy wood roosting posts are from our very own Mississippi river he he driftwood but makes great roosts! The second shorter separate run behind ours was given to us last week and It broke and the metal roof sliced the entire left side of my face open

. Origionally that was going to be an add on to my run but now I am keepin it detatched for a hen laying and her and her babies to socialize without pecking problems until getting introduced. I was given a nice hen that is sitting on 17 right now, that should be interesting. The garbage can for feed holding is 6 years old and used to hold dog food RIP Patches. The hen houses inside again made of extra material. And the paint that is not on it yet will be the same pain on our house currently I just have to find it lol. Eventally their free range will be fenced at the end of our house to keep them out of the garden.

Sorry about the pics my regular lense is broken and our coup is next to our house against our privacy fence, not much room to work with picture wise.

So depending on your opinion theses are some cheap chickens or the most expensive in the world *when I get the insurance bill for my face *
