Show me your Lavender Orpingtons

If you have Lavender Orps, I'd like to see pictures with gender and approx age.

Pictures with age development on them are scarce and they seem to be tricky to sex.

I have two 18 weekers that I'm still unsure about. Their combs and wattles developed early but the growth seemed to plateau. Perhaps it's too much wishful thinking on my part to think they are pullets with large combs! I've seen pics of LO hens with very red, large combs but I understand that also comes with maturity.

First pic is Misty (or Mister Misty as I've been calling it). Kinda certain this is a cockerel.

Second pic is Mary, quite a bit smaller than Misty. Legs are smaller as well.

Misty is a boy. Can we have a full body side pic of Mary? Lav orps are confusing, as they are early combers, but at 18 weeks you can tell based on feathering.

Both are cockerels. They are growing long hackle, saddle, and tail feathers, which is a sure sign they are cockerels.

@OneHappyRooster @TheOddOneOut I’m thinking for sure cockerel for the first one I think I see saddle feathers flowing down in the back, can we get more tail area pics for second one?

Okay, figures. I guess I kinda already knew but I wanted LO hens so badly. Lol.
Guess I need to make arrangements for them. Sad..they are so very friendly.

Yeah, both of them are cockerels. I just had a friend purchase two Lavender pullets and when she sent me pictures I told her quick, fast, and in a hurry they were cockerels. She paid $60.00 for them. The breeder insists they are pullets and if they aren't what she wanted then she can just re-sell them. Like who in their right mind would pay $60 for a Lavender Orpington cockerel that isn't even well-bred. I can't even get $50 for my Silver-laced adult roosters.
