I'm doing it for breeding, & meatbird purposes.

What is the reason you want to make mixes, besides their crazy looks?

I want to do do it for crazy looks, like you said, and also for good egg prodution and colored eggs such as blue, green, and olive. Also like Marans eggs!

You'll need colored egg layers, such as Easter Eggers, Ameraucana, Araucana, Legbars, & Olive Eggers, for the blue egg gene.

I used to have a Black Copper Marans hen, but she died from a heart attack.

These 2 cuties are Buff Ameraucana x OE from Dragonfly Farm! I received 2 of these eggs from them and they both hatched.

The Easter Egger is what I refer to as Pre - Ameraucana, since Ameraucana, & Araucanas weren't officially a breed yet.

Olive Eggers, technically another variation of EE, which are a mutt with the blue egg gene in it's ancestry.

Legbars, I don't remember what was used to create those except the Leghorn.
