I know the Silkhorns (thats what I call them) won't breed technically breed true, though the color, the silkie feathers, the broodiness, the productive laying, and any other desired traits should stay with the chickens throughout the generations :D

I breed Svarthona, but as a side project I have been working on Austra-Svarts.

Prize Roo, named 76, he is 3/4 Svart and 1/4 Autralorp
Pictured in my avatar, is 84, he is 1/2 and 1/2.
