Show me your muffs, beards, and tufts!

I prefer a more stereotypical rooster look, but I do love a man with a beard:

RIP Ox, killed by this idiot earlier this week:

They'd never fought before and have acres and acres to roam, I had gone to the store right quick and was caught wholly off guard when I came home. Live and learn.

Trying to look on the bright side, this girl was the favorite of both boys, so she's probably breathing a sigh of relief to only have to contend with one now. I'm jealous she's able to carry off facial hair so well. Some whiskers have shown up on my own chin as I've aged, and I'm afraid they're not nearly as attractive.

Don’t they know it’s friends before hens? 😂 No but I’m sorry for your loss she is a beautiful hen though!

Wow, she's really got the tufted thing goin' on! My two EEs haven't developed any "facial hair" yet (coming up on 3 months old); I wonder if there's still time? Olive is so dramatic!
You nailed it. "Dramatic" that's totally Olive. I don't know much about EEs or OEs. Hopefully, yours will begin developing soon.

I had an Ameraucana cockerel kill another once.

I think those and EEs are kinda aggressive.

They hadn't been until that day, just an occasional shove off a hen if they happened to catch the other mating. Otherwise I would have culled down to one earlier and just kept Ox. In their defense, these two EEs are my first large fowl breed of rooster that haven't been people aggressive at all.

This is a thread for me! I love all things bearded, muffed, and crested! 😍😍

I have Ameraucanas, bantam Ameraucanas, silkies, d’Anvers, d’Uccles, Watermaals, a Salmon Faverolle, a Russian Orloff, silkies, satins, and Polish! I mean look at the babies too! 😍😍
