Show me your poofballs, please!

That was Arthur. He was a great baby! I don't know the raccoon, but the stuffed animals are what we use to comfort single orphans when they arrive.

Alot of people do not realize how easy it is to destroy a wild animal as far as being ever truely wild or "tame". I actually blogged about one of our non-release bobs because of this...they are very delicate animals. Those pictures are actually three different bobcats. Bridgette is the first three, then Nadia, and last is Moose. Nadia was a release program bob. The bobs are our specialty.

They are very cute :D thanks for sharing!!!

thanks :D im ganna read it.

I am loving everyone's poofballs! You guys are really cheering me with this, thank you!

kari_dawn, those were wonderful to see! I had wondered if that was a bobcat in your profile picture before, and now I know. Sweet!

wanna see a big shot of him? That is my all time favorite picture ^.^

He was a confiscation, and I did a LOT of work to win his trust and adoration. You can see it in his eyes! They are so emotionally charged, self aware, and posess memories to rival that of an elephant!

If that doesn't make you smile, I dont know WHAT will!!

edit: don't let that sweet face fool you. He may not be releasable, but he is still a wild animal. The first time I worked with him, he bit me. Not hard enough to break the skin (have I mentioned how self aware they are?), but enough to let me know he was not happy with me being there.
