Yes. 41" fell in less than 24 hrs. And our high prediction when I'd gone to bed the night before was 19". Imagine my surprise when I opened the curtains.

Nice pics. I had a similar idea with the truck pics. It was quite surreal to have brown ground at midnight and then about 3ft 12 hrs later.

My current run is 100 feet of Premier 1 electric net that I morph into different configurations from time to time so as to give them fresh ground to work over.

When the new, open-air coop is built the run and coop will be integrated with the electric net used to rotate them through what will be my garden.

When we move the coop down by the garden this spring, I want to build some kind of connector and make a chicken moat around part of my garden. I really battle grass around the perimeter, so I want the chickens to do some of that work for me.

That's a great idea! We just moved our garden close to the coop. It will be much more convenient to have them in the same area.

I am so jealous that you lot have 1 - so much space and 2 - so much snow, I would LOVE that!

Here's a quick screen grab from my run camera - as you can probably tell we had a tree come down hence all the logs ... The run is 18 x 8 and from this angle you can't see the mirror, xylophone (they ignore that!) or really make out the dust bath below the camera.

This is my temporary run from last year. It was the best we could do with the shortage of fencing materials due to Covid.

We now have new fencing and will be building a new, much bigger run this spring. I am loving all the pictures to give me ideas so keep them coming!
