Show me your silkie coops!

I know it's been a while since anyone's posted to this thread, but I'm getting ready to get day-olds bantam silkies and bantam easter eggers, and since I'll be cross-breeding, want 4 small bantam-tractors that are very cheap to make, and will fit through my garage door (3 feet).

Can I make anything using clear long tubs from Wally World? That would keep it light. But I'd need to put bricks on top because we get very high winds here.

Help!

well, a made a little enclosure in the cochin run for them during the day, so they can get out and scratch around- need to figure out a more permanant solution- maybe section off an area in the main layers coop- but wouldn't silkies miss being outside???

Some modifications have been made since these pics, slightly wider ramp up into the coop, shingle material on the indoor ramp so that it's very grippable, and 2.5 inch thick tree branch replaced the board roost. My 3 mo. old silkies do roost. I currently have two d'uccle chicks in with them, so that probably helped them get into the habit. I'm glad they roost, because I like using a dropping board. The outdoor ramp is only about 2 ft. high, and the indoor one a little less (neither are steep).

i know it doesnt look very safe because it is not above ground, but this is my showgirl coop.

you see, one of my showgirls has a bum leg and can only hop around. she can not climb or get over obstacles so building a raised coop would not be an option for her. this ones fine though, the run looks like dirt but it is cement underneith, and the fencing is chain link. nothings getting in there.

I saw my last post and was cracking up, remembering the days when they were small enough to be in a tractor! We now have our Silkies in one of these:
