I'm loving this thread!! I saw an add on CL for a trio of BR Turkeys for $35.00 buckeroos but he was too far away from me.

Hi all we live in north east Indiana and just started raising Turkeys last year we have 18 so far its a mix of Red Bourbon, Bronze and Black Spanish waiting on the first swap meet May 7 at Wolf Lake I can't wait

This is my only turkey out of 18 eggs I purchased on Ebay. Totally my fault, the thermometer was not functioning properly, only had 2 hatch (2 days early) and I had to cull one that was not thriving.



I had toyed with the idea of eating them this year but I wasn't counting on having only one. So his name is Ricardo and he's a pet, he loves to sit on my lap or shoulder while we watch TV or play cards.

Looks like it's back to the grocery store for turkey meat.
