I want some Wyandottes soo bad! Congrats on your first chicks! They are adorable! You'll love the eggs! And you'll never be able to go back to plain store bought eggs!

We are super excited. We had a friend last year give us some fresh chicken and duck eggs and it was so delicious. Can't wait!!

This is our first year with chicks and so far its a lot of fun! My daughters are really enjoying having them and we've got a favorite already, nothing can replace a great personality and one of our Tetra Browns has a ton of that! We named her Juggernaut and she comes to the side of the brooder that we approach fro as soon as she notices someone in the room, she climbs right into our hands and just sits down, its pretty cool.

This is Juggernaut, and in addition to her we have 3 leghorns 2 more Tetra Browns and a pair of Barred Rocks.

Is she okay? That's what mine looked like before dying.

Just received mine yesterday (Thursday) morning and six of 11 have died. They were in bad shape when I got them.

No offense, but are you sure she's not dying in that bowl?

They sent one extra, which helped not the least.

That's horrible and heartbreaking! I'm so sorry if there was a blizzard they should have sent more than one extra chick and should of had bedding. Mine sleep like that all the time, it's perfectly fine
