you are so sweet, thank you. I was up all night, it is just so distressing. They still have not arrived. They are now about 72ish hours and I am losing hope that they will be ok for sure. Both of the morning trucks have come and gone from my post office. Next due this afternoon around 3:30. Its not looking good. :(

,..
Joy should be a Americana of some kind. We got her from our local(ish) feed store, called Cow Town. There were Barred Rocks and Americana's in the bin. In the bin there were only Wheaton Americanas and only ONE brown Americana (which my sister got), and this white one, Joy...

This right here tells me you have Easter Eggers, commonly mislabeled Ameraucana or Americana. It means you can't show them and they may surprise you with their adult coloring but EEs are terrific backyard birds!

This is my new group. Not sure what they are. The one that looks like a chipmunk had feathered feet. The black one has a white butt, the yellow one has a black spot on its head and the mixed coffee colored one is just too cute. Any suggestions?

The chipmunk with feathered feet is probably a silkie.

Gave my chicas a sand box to play in today and they're not too sure what to think yet but are getting braver. One will walk onto it and another will come push the first one in haha. Man these little chicks are entertaining. We had to put one of our dogs to sleep last night and so I've been watching these little guys most of the morning to cheer me up. They're still scared of me, like they take food out of my hands but get all twitchy when I first put it in- I'm hoping now that they've got sand to use as grit I can start winning their love through treats. They're 1 1/2 weeks old, is that too young for some small amount of veggies and/or tiny crickets?

I think when they are about 3 weeks old, you can stat giving them small amounts of veggies. Only try one new food at a time, in case they have a reaction. You can start giving them scrambled eggs. They love it, and it is really good for them.
