Bantams are the best. Here is a picture of my white Silkie.

How can you tell if Silkies are show quality? I have students I would like to have compete for the fun of it, so not expecting a major prize.

You'd have to look it up.. But a decent show quality silkie would look like this

You're silkie is very cute though, I'd love to get more silkies this year~

Here is two of my roosters top is elvis and bottom is ranger. Elvis is a golden sebright and ranger is a cream light brown Dutch bantam. Elvis is 2 yrs old and ranger is 4 yrs old!!

The little Bantam crossbred babies are growing up so fast. And they’re all sporting big Jap tails already at two weeks old. Seeing lots of male behaviors, will be sad to see most of these get rehomed.

I have several bantams now.
I just love them!

And my partridge Silkie cockerel.
He’s 5 months old.

They all roost in the rafters of our coop.
8 feet up! Even Silkie!
