I'm a new chicken mom and I got my chickens at Tractor Supply so they pretty much guessed at what we were getting. Initially I wanted Silkies, but we got, as I found out through this site once they got older, was bantam Cochins and I'm so glad! They are so cute and sweet. We also didn't want a rooster and now our rooster is my favorite! He crows and crows for me to go give him snuggles. We lost one of my hens, so now I only have 2. Scoops is my rooster, and Ruffles is the hen I have left... Lay's was the other one.

thank you I really don't know what exact breed of bantam she is. When I went to my local breeder to buy some of my other hens, he just said "here, you can have her too She's a bantam" that's all i know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Does anyone else in the thread happen to know her specific breed? I've always wondered
