Yes. He's so different from the other roos. They are all very docile, but this guy.........seriously, I think he knows he's getting a photo taken. They free range and he just likes hanging around people.

mine was like that too! A great breed. Hopefully i can find another male soon so I can start breeding

I sell fertile eggs but am in the process of getting my NPIP and it is slow. I put the call in and am waiting. Almost did this the end of last year but waited too long and wanted to be sure all was in place.............they are slammed at the testing facility............I want the testing to cross off anything and everything for the stamps. I do like the breed. My only negative is they have all these nests to choose from and all want to lay at the same time in the same nest! It makes for broken eggs at times. Lately I've been putting an egg in separate nest boxes and it seems to actually be working. It's almost like they want to lay where there's an egg even though not broody....
