This is Black Betty through the months. I, 2, 3, and 4 months old. She is the most timid of my four hens, (2) EE's, (1) New Hampshire Red, and her. . Her plumage is beginning to get the nice color and she is filling out well. We are still a ways off from egg laying as her comb and wattles are small still.

From this photo, yes. An easy way to tell is if she has the blue green shine on her feathers. That's almost a sure fire way to tell.
