Everybody's ducks are so lovely. I just can't get enough duckling photos.

These are little Muscovy from this year. 12 ducklings that look almost identical. I believe they will be lavender but the more I read the more confused I become. The photo looks fake, I'm not sure what went on with my phone's camera. I didn't alter the photo.

The light colored hen is the mom of the ducklings above. The drake looks like her but has more color.

The hen on the left mated with the same drake had 50% light colored ducklings and 50% what I believe will be gray ducklings.

These are two from an earlier hatch. Are they lavender?

I also have a hen who looks much like these two but the dark feathers are gray, not tan.

This is Daisy "Duckling."
My first Incubated duck*...
She is a Fawn White Runner Duck,
and is two weeks old.

She has two Marans Chicks as brooder buddies !
This Solo duckling, will shortly have some 'siblings,' currently on "Day 18" with x3 viable Posted Eggs.These are x1 Black, x1White, and another F/W.

* She had a sibling, but they didn't make it past 5 days, alas.

This pair is particularly photogenic. Not proper for shows, but I don't like the massive carnucles. That's the cool thing with birds, we can breed for what we love.

I think this is a dusky chocolate Muscovy
