I'll try to get some pics of my buffs to post - my roo and some of my hens are darker buff (shiny-er, too) and some of the hens are lighter buff (duller color). The roo and one hen came from Mt. Healthy hatchery, and the other hens came from a BYC member.

My hubby says of all the chickens here, he likes the orps the best - because he can walk up to them and pet them without them freaking out.

Buffs are all I have, I love them. Need to get some more color in the flock though lol
This one is pretty dark, darker now then in this pic and deff my darkest bird. He bit me the other day really hard for the first time and I had to give him a little punch. Didnt hurt him but now he avoids me so I think I hurt his pride lol
