poor fella and Blue they attack and he's 3X their size. He just started to crow so he hasn't gotten his well.............courage up yet.

i have 6 golden comets that i cant tell apart so they dont have names...the same w/ my 2 bb red oegb pullets and my 2 mille fluer d'uccle pullets...
cant tell apart my 2 BR or my 2 australorps either

my mossy maran roo: mossy (yeah, i know, real inventive...lol)
my BCM roo: harold
2 BCM pullets: cheepcheep(cause shes a talker) and ebony
my black maran roo: bogey
my splash maran: whinny
my sicilian buttercup pullet: buttercup (yep another original....lol)
 
We've named a few of ours. Here are their names.

Buttercup (or Butterball if you ask my hubby)- Giant Buff Cochin
Russell (my son named her this, lol!)- Giant Buff Cochin
Melba Toast- California White

The rest don't have names yet. Maybe they'll develop names as time goes on, like some of the others.

I once had a white hen named Delilah.
She LOVED beer.
The lush new a cola can from a beer can, and would peck the dickens out of your shoe, until you gave her a drink. She would fly up on your shoulder and bum a sip if you were drinking her flavor of beer.
On new years, at the stroke of midnight, we all went to the hen house, (which was lit for heat) woke her up, and gave her a cup of her own beer.

She was the best hen I'd ever had....killed by a freaking dog who soon there after met his end.

Delilah. A good name for any hen who is part person.

I have a black Austrolorp named Delilah. She's a people person. She got the name because the sounds she makes sound like Craig Ferguson's impression of Salvador Dali. She's also my most broody hen when the mood suits her. She never pecks when I take the eggs from under her.
The others are:
Black Austrolorp-General Tso aka The General aka Genny
Gold Laced Wyandotte-Miss Jaunty Barret(because instead of a rose comb she has a normal comb that flops over to the side)
4 sex-links-Comet, Red, Ringneck, and the white one is Foghorn
White EE Roo-Apache​
 
I have five red comets:

Cinnamon
Nutmeg (I call her that so I can call her Nutty since she's a bit wacky)
(The above two hang around together so I call them the Spice Girls)

Leek (stupid name my son gave him...yes, like the onion!)
Pickle (my little son named her this after his deceased cat, Pickles)
(together these two are the veggie girls)

Lacy (my sister wanted ONE feminine name!)
