Pullet BR-Thrasher (she's the wildest with the shavings) Buff Orp.-Nutter Butter: Golden Comet-Goldie Locks (and NO bears!) "Goldie" : 3 partridge cochins -Max, Ruby and Rascal: 2 black cochins-Blackjack and Josephine

We have a Buckeye rooster named Brutus! For anyone that doesn't know, Brutus is the name of the OSU mascot--a giant buckeye person. we live in Ohio and are only about 20 miles from the origin of the Buckeye breed, we couldn't resist! LOL

we have three EE that we call Mama, bald mama and black mama and we have one BO we call Buffy. Mama was injured as a chick and i spent many, many day/nights nursing her back to health (she's the friendliest of all our chickens), bald mama is bald on her back as she is Brutus's favorite lady and he's not so gentle!

Black mama has black feathers, she stumbled on her name by default really--with the other two EE's having 'mama' in their name we couldn't leave her out. all the others do not have names.

here are some pics of the mama's and buffy...i don't have a pic of brutus, need to take the camera out to the coop.

we hatched 6 EE/Buckeye babies on mother's day. they are still awaiting names (so far i have uno, dos and red beak) DH is threatening to name the other three booger, burp and fart--i can't allow that so I'd better come up with some better names fast!
