Mae (my Mosaic)

Cookie is so named because the firefighter we got her from is a mentor to my son, also a firefighter. He was a college instructor, and was in the habit of throwing cookies to students who gave correct answers in class. He nicknamed my son Cookie Monster. Also, because my husband and son thinks she looks like cookie dough.
Midnight has a twin named Moonlight; Cooper has a twin named Cuddles

So, to recap, we have
Libby, Middy, Moonie, Mae
Cookie, Custard, Copper, Cuddles

Some of the pix are darker because it’s almost 95 degrees here and they are under a tarp that’s attached to the fence. They have a perfectly shaded, ventilated coop, but prefer being under the tarp mostly

I have in this photo lola lilac and lavender and some of the other chickies~ sadly lavender died yesterday from wry neck and an egg cracked inside of her but she is in a better place now
