Heres my backyard in the city coop. Soon to be home for my 2 BOs and 1 BRock. They are going to be 2 wks old tomorrow- and growing so fast.

The coop is on top with a storage area below. I havent finished the inside roost or nest box yet. It is approx 11ft x 6ft, and 6ft tall at the front. For proofing against preditors we dug a trench and layed the hardware cloth in a ribbon of concrete. The 3 day project turned into 8- but it was worth it.
Here is my coop. Just the playhouse coop that so many others have:
We finished it in spring and promptly got 4 bantams (2 RIR and 2 leghorns) who have been loyal egg layers since.

They really seem to enjoy being out there and I'm glad to be able to give them another safe place to dig around and be chickens. I love seeing what other people have done with their coops. Everyone has done such nice jobs on them. What a great hobby!
