wow it is a savings. Here I can get a #50 bag of starter $14 at my feed store. I get some feeds there Tractor supply here is not bad pricing , nutrena feeds starter is $15 for #50 so if I am already their buying other stuff I go on and pick up feed. I guess that shows how different states have way different pricing.

It's amazing the pricing difference on things from state to state. Its annoying when you live on the state line and have to cross into a different state to buy something and spend a dollar or more for the same item I bought in the same grocery store in my state plus higher taxes..

I hear you. Here it's the opposite. We can cross the border here and save a ton on certain items, especially clothing. Our state is very high on taxes, but one state over has no tax on clothing. And there are differences in the tax rate here just from county to county. But my husband has a very strong opinion on keeping the little guy in business. So he'll pay considerably more (and often does) on anything as long as he's supporting a 'mom and pop' owned business.

My hubby is the same way. I cant convince him otherwise(and he wonders why we are broke) That is the reason I posted this thread, that and I like to try to reuse things if I can in some ways. I want to find out what people out there in BYC land use for their dishes, maybe I can come up with a recycled food dish or waterer..
