This is my Coop. The First Picture is the Old Section its 20'x6'x6' and the 2nd picture is the new addition its 32'x6'x6'. I use the New Run to have the Chickens create Compost. I have sense removed the lattice because my three GSD's have tore it up as you can see in the photo. I have 18 hens and 1 Rooster.

Here is ours. We copied a know coop from watching online videos. The coop isn’t huge 4x8 but they only go in to sleep . The run is covered and we try to let them out in an enclosed elective poultry net area most days.

This is our first coop. I have five girls: a Brahma, buff Brahma, Americana, Black Star and a copper Marian. The dog you see is Merlin. Although I would never trust him with the girls, in this picture he is guarding the coop. I was mowing and every time I got close to the coop he would run and stand by the girls. The other day while I had them out in their extended yard and I was working on the patio, he quietly opened the gate, letting two out into the main yard. I went to see how they got out and found him quietly sitting in the run with the girls. They were walking around him like he belonged there. Gives a whole new meaning to “bird dog.”

It's getting cold out! I'm going to have to insulate my hens coop better!

This shows the most recent addition to the coop itself: a 4'x4' section. I still need to add the roof over the run in this section and replace the netting. Snow last year brought it all down... see zip ties lol.

Pic 3 shows our recent run addition. The area is about 24'x20'. Still needs a little work here and there, but it is good to go for our girls. Will be adding various perches, swings, and hiding spots out of the elements for them. The plants in front of the fencing are mint.

Pic 4(below) is how it looked prior to the addition on the coop and run. Built from mostly reclaimed items from friends and family member's projects. Some came from local Facebook gifting groups.
