Show off your diy coop!

One thing I've learned from seeing other coops in person is that I could have spent a LOT less time, effort, and money on my coop. Ultimately the chickens don't care.

It has been my experience, that the chickens actually "do" care what type of coop they call home. They prefer a solid roof to a tin one.
It's probably because they were getting static on their TV and stereo!

I had rolled roofing on my coops. Eventually they wore out and started leaking in spots so we put metal roofs on all of the coops. I don't think I have to worry about the roofs anymore. Whatever coop you put the birds in, they will adapt. I usually move my birds around especially during breeding season. They are discombobulated at first but they eventually adjust to their coop.

Original coop was the play house. Upgraded to the shed. Starting to build 18x6 another extension pen off this weekend.
