Haha, I know what you mean! Mine have only been out 2 days and there’s a lotta poop... good thing I don’t mind cleaning! Today’s task: painting the coop!

Thanks! I wanted it to be nice looking and easy to maintain. Cheryl has wanted chickens for a very long time so I got to be the hero.

4x8 tractor with 3 nesting buckets, a section for chicks with a Mama Heating Pad bucket, 20 feet of roosts, and isolated grazing for the chicks below. I’ve added a 8x12 portable run that mates to the front of the tractor. I move them weekly to keep the chickens in fresh grass flooring. Now that the chicks are older, I opened the door between sections to integrate the birds.

Here is my coop... still needing the finishing touches on coop & lots of work to do still on the run, but the babies are loving it! (Pictures are not the best!)

Amazing diy coops! We are in the middle of building our first large coop 8x12 plus run extension and we were so proud of how it was looking but now seeing these I’m iffy on ours. Lol. Awesome job everyone!
