Haha! Thanks!! We are ready to see it finished too! (That is my fiance in the picture!) He has been a trooper during my chicken madness. He has done a lot of the work for the coop. I've been helping, but almost feel like the project manager at times

We are planning on painting it the same coloring as the shed you see in the background. I’m also thinking about planting some flowers and veggies around it to liven it up a bit. And maybe adding one of those outdoor chicken decor things made of metal and a sign and... ok getting a bit ahead of myself here!

Looks great to me, perfectly functional and home sweet home to your chooks

I think the chickens are proud to. Because they paid for most of it themselves

My DH and I turned an old shed into a coop. We only had to build one side and a floor....this was 3 yrs ago before the run was added and the 1st chickens moved in...It's actually surrounded by volunteer trees now....

Here's mine, what I started with and where we went with it. I think if I had done it differently I would have put a shed there and made the coop in a shed instead. Well, I'm in the market.
