Show off your dogs!!!!!!!!!!!! **VERY PIC HEAVY!!**

Our Chihuahua's Oudy and Truffle - The week before we got Oudy I was convinced I didnt like Chihuahua's - when I couldnt stop one from running the other direction on our busy Highway - I followed it for 1/4 mile, blocking 2 lanes of traffic, and someone finally reached to grab it, and it ran BACK into traffic. I was sick about it...and told my DH I hated Chihuahuas. Then he called me one day and asked if he could get a puppy? (We had just lost our 13 yr. old border collie mix, and moved our 9 yr. killer mix) Yeah, he wanted a Chihuahua, now we have 2! Oudy and Truffle in their Chihuahua dresses before we went to a 50's dance (we take them everywhere!)

This is cha cha, she was a pound puppy. I'm not real sure what mix she is but she's a good girl, about 7 years old now.

Our dogs do urban mushing with me. We took a break during the summer as it was too hot for them to run (too hot for me too!), and now we are waiting to receive Skippy's new harness and a new gangline. Once that equipment comes, I'll have to post some pictures of them working.

DH managed to get both our Great Pyrenees and our Newfie on the couch at the same time.

Great Pyrenees is the livestock guardian by day, all-around guard dog by night after the chickens are safely shut in the barn. Newfie is sloooowly working on her Water Dog certificate--she's still unclear on what to do with the rope after she has grabbed it, and she doesn't like swimming too deep, but she attempted to rescue random people at the beach this summer whenever anyone went further than waist-deep. Good instincts!

Both are also working on draft certificates. The Pyr is a giant ham, and whenever anyone other than me and DH sees him pulling an empty, perfectly balanced cart in his harness, he puts on this big "I'm so exploited!" act. It's embarrassing, especially when he goes right back to walking normally with a smile on his face the instant the car turns the corner.

And the whole gang, back when I had a third Tervuren. She would be 17 if she were still with me.
