Well we were proud of ours until winter hit .I’ll Send “winterizing ( and failing miserably pics tomorrow for a laugh) And then pick your guys’ expert brains how to fix my mess! Lol Good news they’re all happy and healthy. Here was the staring run and I’ll get video tomorrow to attach for ideas on how to help... in retro spect I see sooo many issues when I look back now ‍ I was trying fo be finically creative and we converted a castle bed to our duck house... which we now know after the first storms we have to fix ASAP..

Wanted to add my pics. I bought a 10 x 20 shed and had a wall installed in the middle. My Muscovy ducks have the back half which includes a ducky door to their run, 3 windows, and 2 doors - one to outside, one to other half of shed. I open the windows on nice days for fresh air. I live in a cold, snowy area but don't plan to insulate. They usually spend the nights roosting on the branches I put up. I added a 10 x 10 fenced run with a covered roof and windbreak along one wall. They free range when I am home, or can be shut in run-in if I am away. I use a large pet gravity-fed water system which I bring in each night to thaw. Working well for me so far.

Oh it is definitely secure,a quite comfortable for a bit of a lie down. minus the duck poop.
