Oh I may be wrong about the pea comb.. I may have mistaken a small rose comb for pea... cannot remember now

You do see pea comb, most coming from the infusion of asils. Rose combs aren't too hard to dub. Just tend to need to dub them a bit earlier than the straight and pea combs.



I had aquired some jerezanos and some toppies from "fancybanty" Al Sanchez several years back, were fun little birds to raise. You do have to be careful with growing them out because the spanish tended to game up really quick compared to my American and Oriental games. My plant's closure forced me to cut wayyy back and sell off several lines and families of birds. I may get some little spanish again one of these days, sad i had to let them go

Probably for Christmas,I hatched some cemani hybrids 4 days ago and they are beating up 4 week old silkys. Maybe they're an Indonesian game fowl

Did some of that recently... Very happy with my 2nd oldest 2014 hatch. That guy is wound up!

I am getting rid of one stag this year... I am giving my growth-stunted black stag to my brother-in-law, who I finally convinced to adopt some fowl. Mexican guy who keeps pigs and horses needs some good free range chickens.

I am also thinking of getting rid of my wild type cock. Both his male offspring (white modern cross and the black stag) are way smaller than I had expected. I was thinking about bringing Fabio over to my house to replace him.

I'm done. Keeping what I have. I have a very good sweater stag and 2 Kelso hatch stags. A ruble stag went to someone that said he's very happy with him and 2 Kelso hatch stags that went to another is doing very well. The others stags and pullets I haven't heard anything about. The 3 stags went to people I'm close to the others were just gifted or sold. Total I kept prolly 8 stags and 10 or so pullets. I only cull cull about 10 birds people were more than willing to take what I didn't need.

Sdm, if game hens are raised together,do they still fight? Even layer hens fight if away from each other for a few weeks.

with mine if raised from hatch together most will get along but sometimes even with bringing up together 2 are just incompatible. With that being said let's say I rear 3 grey hens ( which for me the greys are they worst for hens fighting ) from hatch, I swear if I remove one for a day or two and put her back it's like the other 2 have never seen her before and will brutely jump on the other. You won't be able to coexist 2 hens that don't know each other, just is what it is. The difference is layers are gonna fight for top hen the games are gonna fight to kill.
