Got a pullet missing a bunch of feathers after a close call with a hawk. will have a better look at her later when it gets dark and i'm able to get my hands on her. its getting cold and i feel bad for her

When you get a hold of her make sure you check real good under her wings. I had a hen that looked totally fine. I caught her up to pen her and she had a big scab under her wing from I’m guessing a hawk talon. She was fine but I couldn’t tell just from looking at her.

That one looks very similar to my Gamefowl mix pullet. She even has red leakage in her hackles like my girl.
