How do you guys track your birds? Do you guys keep notes on matings? Do you guys use legs bands or wing bands to keep track of your birds for breeding?

I've got a book I write every breeding down every aspect of what I have seen first hand from the off spring, zip ties work and I will probably use them on younger birds but I am gonna use leg bands for the most part.

I took them from the mama when they hatched. She hatched them in the creek and theyll most likely get eaten down there at night.
