@varidgerunner do you think those south east Asian games could survive my winters in good form without doing more than protecting them from wind and otherwise kept covered?

We are having some interesting nights where it does not cool done much. Today about dawn we got down to 79 F. Tomorrow morning supposed to be a little cooler but you still get covered in sweat checking on things, refilling waterers and feeding. Birds eating good only at dawn and just before going to roost. Young ones eating bugs good while staying out of sun. Lots of insects this year too.

@JShubin are you still doing any of the physical trial activities with your birds? I may have one you will like. My younger birds sure like doing it. I can set up a board and they run up it, apparently out of fun. To make reliable I am now giving them a reward. Board is almost vertical like running up a tree trunk.

these are my 2 game hens, I have no idea of their breed, but they are definitely game. I've never gotten babies off them because they attack any rooster who mounts them lol

Both appear to be gray with bird on right also buttermilk where she carries at least one copy of wheaton allele. Her legs also appear blue. Where did you get them?
