Show Off Your Games!

Well, they look good to me. I don't see anything that detects a yard cross, and I don't see two cocks in the same pen together.. So If you like 'em, try 'em. That is my opinion.

Well, it is hard to say on SQ. They look pretty- but since they are large fowl games they aren't registered by the APA... And I don't have the AGFS's standards, perhaps someone else will come along on that?

The Mashburns are a family of Cockers from one generation to another . You need to list what each pic is, i know they have good bloodlines (law Grays for just one).

I just wanted to say it appears that they all have Yellow legs, they are supposed to have White legs(atleast I have been told that by numerous people).

Only OEG, and even then that is only in America. In UK (homeland), they can come blue/slate/white/yellow. These are American game (note the names, grey(law), democrat, Kelso, etc) which can throw any leg color, comb type, feather color, size, etc. They weren't really bred for uniformity, and the only reason the bantams only come with slate legs is because the APA/ABA refused to accept them with green or white because of the possible confusion in the Junglefowl/OEG. Or I believe that is what I heard. It is also why people can't get the APA to recognize the large fowl, so many strains throw both pea and single comb, white and yellow, etc.. They're just not really uniform like the APA wants- so most people breed them to their likes (or the AGFS's Standards), which is what I do too (though I do acknowledge the characteristics of the breed, like on the Shamo I tend to look at the Japanese standard and ask help on what to look for from experienced breeders). The only birds I really focus on standard wise though is the OEGB's.
