I Used to keep Birchen oxfords, and i'm not to sure if i still have pics of them left. they were the gamiest games i've ever had. well, i sold a quintet of them to a guy just starting a while ago, and he called me up about 2 months later to tell me that a hen flew about 15 ft. into the air to attack a hawk that was threatening her brood!!
Hey everyone, I haven't been on in a while while we were moving. We got pretty lucky and found a house that had a few nice sized out buildings and I've been busy putting pens together. I also got a new line, Futch Hatch. I actually got them from the sons of the man who started the line. The weekend before the move I drove to Alabama to pick them up. Tracy has gotten out of the Game birds and about 4 years ago turned all he had left loose on his farm. They got a little over populated and he decided to get rid of them all. I got a mature pair and three young pullets. They are pretty heavy into their molt right now, but I'll try to get a picture up.
Old english game bantams: The hen is sooooo calm and layed back and she could care less what you do to her, in the picture she is cleaning herself, and the rooster is a little terror to the other roosters and the hens sometimes but hes the sweetest one when it comes to leting us hold him.
