Yes, when it comes to the name thing, unless you get the info from the breeder they came from, then the best you can do is call them by their coloration. The "names" given to gamefowl usually represent the breeders who developed the said strain. You can find several strains that if all put on the same yard would look just alike, their only difference being their place/breeder of origin. In all honesty, once the bird leaves that breeders hands and goes say to your yard, then by you being the one breeding them, they would best be labeled with your name and only referenced as blood from "so n so". Names are just names, whatever you call them they are some very nice looking fowl to have roaming your yard.
