Show Off Your Games!

OK. I need help. This pair, came with a lot of Cochins, we bought, from a breeder. I thought they were Phoenix...but the more I look at them, and read over this thread, I'm thinking they are some other form of game bird. The roo, has to high of a tail set, for a phoenix, right??

Can someone please tell me, what I have here.

Hey Josh, don’t be shy with the pics ha ha, yes that is something about games that normally once trouble starts there is no backing down. Most other critters will chose flight over fight when the going gets rough.

Those are phoenix. White ear lobes, blue legs, long saddle feathers. The phoenix tail is pulled downward by the weight of the feathers. Your male has not grown in all his feathers yet, when he does, tail will probably be correct.

Do you have any pics of them? I have heard of Vizard Greys(american game), and Mccoy (asil). I'm not familiar with Vizard Asil though.

Thank you, for your time. I just wanted to be sure. They are a young pair, at 5-6 months of age.

The Vizards have a bit of asil(oriental) blood in them . Mr Vizard made them that way
