sucky enough, im being forced to move or get rid of all my animals but two kept in cages constantly, and under forty pounds, so having to try to sell off my white hackles and sid taylor crosses with bantam (though considering hoping the baby cockerels are quiet like their daddy, and might be able to hide. freakin hate drunken off duty cops, as they get to do whatever they want when the rest have to obey everything they dont have to. if i had knowledge of hoy to work one of video cameras, id tape them, and send to local higher ups maybe, as i have to put up with them being jakckasses when drunk and hung over, but they act like weezely cowards and lie to my face then go behind my back, then lecture me about being a man and i should be up front and if feel ticked at any of them i should start something. like in stupid enough to start a fight when threatened by police.

Hi everyone, I have a request.
I would like to see some pics of different breeds of Game hens.
I have been buying some for my son lately and even though I have been told what they are, I am not sure if they are pure and look like they should.
One example is that I have two grey hens I bought as pullets. Now that they are grown, they have reddish brown chests like a hatch hen or at least what I think are hatch hens. (I have some of those also) Are there any PURE greys that have red in their chests.
Anyway I would love to see a lot game hen pics!
Thanks for helping.
Monty

Try a Cackle Hatchery Catalog, I'm not saying ordeder or anything, but you can see some of the diff Varieties/ colors of gamefowl in it.
If not try Feathersite.com & look there for more pics as well.

What age do stag biddies start showing their tail feathers? I have some 12 weeks olds from an unknown father and some from a sumatra (on an american game hen). Some of the obvious stags(large red combs since small and sparring) are feathered like hens . The sumatra cross biddies (gypsy faced tiny pea combs) have noticeable roo tails. Could they be hennies or are the sumatra crosses just faster feathered?

I let my stags run together until they out-grow the comradery. Many are not 4 or 5 months and nobody has a tail! They constantly keep them pulled out.... I've always thought it was just a 'guy thing.'
