I don't know if this is the right place, and I might get shot if I try to snap pictures of the birds, but I am in awe of their beauty. I drive past a house with gamefowl all around the yard. There is only one rooster evident and he appears to be silver duckwing in color. There are two colors of hen, black and a very interesting shade of wheaten. Both are much larger than I have seen in game hens, maybe going 6 #, but all leg and neck. The wheaten hens have a chocolate head and neck, taupe/khaki back and creamy chest. There are maybe 15 hens running around, but only the black and wheaten and all very consistent in type.

What variety of American Game would these likely be?

The silver male sounds like a gray, there's plenty types of those but some just call any gray a gray. The blacks and the description of a lot of leg and neck, not sure. Cuban and Spanish Games have a lot of leg, but throw in any more leg or neck and you're looking at Oriental crosses.

Nice birds, all. Greybear23, do you have any pictures of Toppys with the actual crest on them? I know it's small and preferred be, but I was expecting someone to have a little tuft of feathers protruding from the back of the skull.
