Show Off Your Games!

Oh Yeah! I like him! Yep,i dub all of mine myself, i always dub before November of the year they were hatched, or when its cooled down....not so hot, so they're won't be any flies around while he's healing up, i cut the comb first, from back to front, then squeeze the waddles so there's no lose skin, then trim those, then the same for the ear lobes (be extra careful......don't cut the ear off) you can use flour to stop the bleeding or other products, Did you dub him yourself? If you did, can you tell me how to do it (and when). I want to dub my 5 months old. His comb is all sloppy and fallen over. It needs to come off.

I use a product called pink lady, its made for open cuts, wounds, and it stops the bleeding. You have to be careful with some products, some can cause blindness if it gets in they're eyes. Id advise the sharpest scissors you can find, if your rooster has a big fat long comb, you will need large scissors, but usually pea Combs are easy to cut, don't need so big of scissors. I'm thinking that's why allot of people like pea Combs.....lot easier to cut, and they end up looking better when cut, than a single comb, if they're comb goes all the way back across Top of the head, when it heals it ends up looking kinda like a reverse Mohawk lol.....i like a pea comb better.

Second placei see the spirit in his eyes

Wow! Thanks. I am surprised with floppy comb of his. He is going to be stunning when full grown and is dubbed. I could tell from the time he was a week old that he was special and I saved him back when I sold off all his brothers. You have just confirmed that my choice was right. Thanks again.
