My understanding aseel and Malay were the oldest oriental breeds.
And the others breeds of orientals are branches of product of selecting from those main breeds.
There are other breeds that were bred on some orientals to produce all the variations that we see now.
There are some pure Malays and aseels in Peru that actually have been well preserved.
There are some websites and blogs from some breeders from Peru ill try to find them and post some links .

Yeah he has speed. He is really tall and lean.. He is a crazy good flyer too.

Unfortunately he has been molting for the past few months and looks aweful, or else I show a more recent photo. The photo above is from earlier this year. This photo is from last year.
